Fresh Traditions Fashion Show is a culturally inspired fashion event which exhibits the creativity, originality and quality of work by Hmong fashion designers. The history of Hmong art is rooted and sewn into the fabrics of traditional Hmong clothing where the unique combination of vibrant colors and textures makes the Hmong identifiable. Fresh Traditions was created in 2006 as a result of the increasing interest in the fashion industry by Hmong artists. This one of a kind event features all Hmong designers who have complete creative control over their designs but one challenge – each designer is required to create one outfit using fabrics in traditional Hmong clothing.
Sponsor the Show – The success and growth of the show is credited largely to our sponsors, whose financial contributions bring the event to life.
Volunteer – The execution of each year’s show is driven by the all volunteer planning committee and volunteers.
