Help ChAt today with a financial contribution! Check out the testimony from both artists and community members alike:

“ChAt feeds my need for beautifully creative and culturally specific art.” – Phasoua Vang

“ChAt has such open doors to such amazing and creative individuals whom have inspired me even more to help out the community.” – Kaolee Lysongsteng

Here’s one just great success story, Kao Lee Thao, who picked up her first paintbrush at ChAt. Kao Lee Thao went to college to become a psychatrist until she tapped into her subconscious mind and realized that art is her passion in life.

“My artwork is a visual diary of both the progression of my artistic growth and my continual stride toward becoming fully the ambitious and responsible artist…Style and uniqueness, the soul and spark of art cannot be derived from anywhere else but from the artist’s subconscious mind and from the firm commitment to represent one’s image as nothing less than a whole being.” – Kao Lee Thao.

We need your help, in any amount, to keep up the great work that we do. As one of the only national Hmong American Arts organizations, ChAt has the unique opportunity and responsibility of strengthening the Hmong community by connecting them to the engaging and empowering benefits of the arts. We value the arts as a means for social change and as a method for communicating messages that affect the community as a whole. Please give today through givemn.org.
