Want to meet other musicians?
Learn how to be a singer/songwriter, play an instrument, and create a band, while gaining valuable knowledge and insight from experienced musicians.
Classes are free for youth and young adults 13-23 years old. Art Saves Us ends with a collaborative public performance

Vocals and Songwriting with Cody Lee
Drums and Percussion with Shawn Mouacheupao
Guitar and Bass with Chuefeng Xiong
Turntablism with Scratch Junktion
All ASU classes are free, and are held at CHAT in St. Paul.
Transportation is provided at no cost to low income, East Side and Frogtown youth, 18 years and younger.
This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Metropolitan Regional Arts Council, thanks to the legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.
