Community Arts Project: Update #2

Hi everyone, this is Yang Mee-Moua Yang.

From May 24 to June 3, I have been to GRIPP, a youth program at HAP and the First Hmong Independent Baptist Church. Both of these groups really enjoyed making origami flowers.  Everybody followed instructions very well.  In these two groups there weren’t as much boys as I thought there would be. I hope to get more boys to be involved.  Thank you for your support! Every fold counts, therefore I am very thankful for all of your help!

A special thank you for those who donated the Hmong man suit and Hmong woman dress. I am still looking for a prom dress. Volunteers are always welcome to come.   Please contact me at mouax087@morris.umn.edu if you are interested or have questions.
