Fresh Traditions is a unique fundraising event highlighting top Hmong designers in our community and in the fashion industry. All proceeds benefit CHAT (Center for Hmong Arts and Talents), a non-profit that exists to nurture, explore and illuminate the Hmong American experience through artistic expressions. We are based in the Twin Cities, MN.
NOTE: Volunteers that work the Fashion Show will work the same duty that they are given for the whole night.
Orientation for Fresh Tradition volunteers will be Oct 17th at 3:00 PM in order to meet and greet the designers and committee members.

Volunteer Job descriptions
Designer Assistant(s): total volunteers 6
Assist the designers with ironing and minor stitching of wardrobe pieces. Help organize and prepare outfits when models change between garments.
VIP Usher(s): total volunteers 4
Responsible for coordinating seating for VIP guest and directing guests to their seats. Ensures that only rightful guest occupy the VIP seating areas. This duty is for the duration of the fashion show.
Elevated Seating Usher(s): total volunteers 4
Is responsible for coordinating seating for guests in the Elevated Seating Areas and ensure that only the rightful guests occupy that seating area for the duration of the show.
Food Coordinators: total volunteers 2
Are responsible for setting up and organizing food and drinks for the fashion show participants in the backstage area. This includes volunteers, models, designers, committee members and designers.
Parking Coordinators: total volunteers 2
Responsible for directing fashion show attendees to designated parking areas. The duration would be prior to the start of the show.
Back Stage Coordinator(s): total volunteers 2
Ensure that communication flows smoothly between designers and models.
